It is truly said, “God could not be everywhere and therefore he made mother.” Mother’s Day is a celebration honouring the mother, as well as motherhood, maternal bond and influence of mothers in society.
Mother’s Day was celebrated today by the students of New Gyan Dham Public Public School who expressed their love and affection for their mother through participating in card making & Poem Recitation competition. Cards made by the students were presented to their respective mothers. Group song were sung by the students of Class VIII for their mothers and the students of Class Ist and Class IV represented a dance for being thankful to their mother in making their life so beautiful.

25 JAN school celebrates annual function Compulsory for all students to give their contribution for arrange function and come with parents.

New Gyan Dham Public School ,Nalagarh celebrated its 4th Annual day titled ‘Sankalp.’ Sh Vinod Kumar (IAS), Deputy Commissioner, Solan was the chief guest. Principal Shabnam Chauhan presided the function. The other special guests were DSP Parwanoo Mr. Khazana Ram, Tehsildar Mr. Keshav Ram, School President Mrs. Shehnaj Khan and Managing Director Mr. Raj Khan. The formal function started with lamp lightning in front of Goddess Saraswati. After that Principal elaborated on the achievements of the school in scholastic and non-scholastic areas in her annual report. Sh Vinod Kumar in his address, commended the activities of the school and complimented the Principal and staff of the school for their hardworking efforts. This was followed by prize distribution ceremony for the achievers of 2017-18. Students presented an cultural program on the theme Sankalp. Everybody praised their performances. The vote of thanks was presented by Principal Miss Shabnam Chauhan.

Three day Sports Meet was organised in the school premises on 16,17 and 18th Feb,2018. Various Sports activities and Cultural Programme was organised. Various students from different classes have participated . At last Winners were rewarded by the Director Mrs. Shehnaj Begum and Principal Miss Shabnum Chauhan.

New Gyan Dham Public School held its annual sports meet ,2018. The aim behind holding the event was to inculcate the spirit of sportsmanship and fondness for spirits in children. The day was a fun filled fest of laughter,energy and delight. The event began with the March pass performed by the students. It was followed by a flag hoisting ceremony. Managing Director, Mr Raj Khan , Principal Miss Shabnam Chauhan took the salute of the March pass of students. The school Principal welcomed the gathering and declared the sports meet open. Students of classes Nur to IX competed in various races like-lemon, sack, spoon, 60m,100m. Various other games like Interhouse Kho-Kho, Badminton, and Kabbadi matches were also organised. On the last day of the sports meet winners were given medals by the Managing Director and Principal of the school.

Gyan Dham Public School celebrated Harvest season as Baisakhi and Himachal Day at its campus . Students came dressed in traditional Punjabi colourful outfits with traditional ornaments and performed on various Punjabi songs.The motive behind the celebrations was to apprise the children of their rich culture and heritage. The school premise was aptly decorated depicting the harvest season. Children were explained about the importance of this festival and about Himachal Day.

Under the guidelines  Dy. Director of Elementary Education a rally was organised under the theme ” Beat Plastic Pollution’ by Eco Club Society of New Gyan Dham Public School,Nalagarh. Students have cleaned near by surroundings and one of the water pond near our school.Students collected all the plastic wastes and wrappers from the surroundings.

New Gyan Dham Public School ,Nalagarh welcomed all the school students on 4th April 2019 at the commencement of the new school session 2019-20.The day began with the morning assembly in which the Principal Miss Shabnam Chauhan welcomed the students.The beginning of the new session was marked with a lot of excitement and enthusiasm among the students.The classes were beautifully decorated and filled the students with pride. The class incharges welcomed the students as we at NGDPS strongly believe that each child is different, unique and has a genius waiting to be discovered. The day was filled with fun activities for the students preparing them for new challenges and exciting opportunities that the new session brings.At last Principal of the school wished all the students and staff members good luck for their new session.

New Gyan Dham started its fifth new session successfully. The first day of school is a milestone for both parents and children wherein both go through a mixture of emotions. The first day of the Kindergarteners at NGPS Nalagarh was more of smiles than tears or fears, acceptance of the new culture and settling in the new environment. The students began their day with the school prayer followed by worship of goddess Sarswati.

School celebrated ‘Bhasha Sangam’ programme under ‘Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat’ from 21st Nov to 21st Dec to integrate India in one thread despite of vast linguistic diversity. Mrs Babita Nazta , Hindi teacher of school introduced 22 different languages English, Hindi, Punjabi, Bodo, Telugu, Gujarati, Urdu,etc. which initiated a light of equality not as a part of region or state but as a country. During this program five sentences of five different languages were taught to the students by the teachers in morning assembly as per the schedule given by MHRD ministry.

School celebrated Children’s Day with great enthusiasm. Floral tribute were paid to the India’s First Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Various activities were organised by the teachers. A solo dance competition was organised for the students for all classes. A fair was organised by the teachers and at last feast was given to the students . Principal Miss Shabnam Chauhan appreciated the students performances and encouraged students to participate in such competitions.

On the occasion of Children’s Day Fair and Feast was organised in the school premises. Different stalls of eatables and games was organised by the teachers of the school.At last was given to the children by the school Management.

Christmas was celebrated in our school on 23rd Dec,2017. Student came into the school in Santa’s dress. Principal of school Miss Shabnam Chauhan had cut the cake on this occasion and distributed sweets among all the children’s. All the students enjoyed a lot.

A bright monday morning brought with it celebrations at New Gyan Dham Public School where students celebrated Christmas with grandeur. Christmas brings cheer and love and we celebrated it with same fervour, spreading the message of love and joy among children. A pleasant and happy atmosphere was created with the singing of Christmas Carols. Principal Miss Shabnam Chauhan spoke about the significance of Christmas . At last Christmas cake and gifts were distributed to the students.

Dental Check -Up was organised in our school on 24th Nov,2017. A team of doctor had diagnose the teeth of all the students of all classes.

Dussehra celebration has been held in our school on 29th Sep,2017. Studetns have made effige of Ravana .

The school celebrated Dussehra with great enthusiasm. The event commenced with the burning of effgy of Ravana. Children enacted small plays on the life of Lord Rama. The celebrations began with explaining the significance of Ramleela and Dussehra. School Principal Miss Shabnam Chauhan encouraged children to follow path of truthfulness and  motivate all to live with love,affection and discipline.

After Hindi Poetry Recitation Comp English Poetry Recitation Comp was also held on 27th July,2018. All the students from class I to VIII have participated in this competition. Winners were rewarded certificated by the Principal of the school in School Assembly.

English Writing Competition was held in the school on 13TH OCT,2017 from classes I to VIII. All the students had participated and winners were choosen by the language taechers from all classes and students were awarded bt the Principal of the school.

After Hindi Poetry Recitation Comp English Poetry Recitation Comp was also held on 27th July,2018. All the students from class I to VIII have participated in this competition. Winners were rewarded certificated by the Principal of the school in School Assembly.

Fancy Dress Competition for classes Nur to Kg was held in our school premises on 31.08.2018 in the school premises. Students was dressed beautifully reflecting various personalities. At last winners were declared by the Director Mrs. Shehnaj Begum and the Principal Miss Shabnam Chauhan.

Fancy Dress Competition was held in the school premises on 15th Sep, 2017 for classes I and II. All the students had participated in this competition and represented various famous personalities  by their dresses.

On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti a small program was organised in the school assembly. A speech was given by the School Captain about the Gandhiji’s life and the group songs was sung by the students.  A small act showing three monkeys was performed by the students. At last Principal Miss Shabnam Chauhan told the students role of Gandhiji’s in making India a free country.

Get Together was organised in school campus on 22nd April,2018 with old as well as new parents. Principal Miss Shabnam Chauhan had introduced all the staff members with the parents and had cleared queries of the parents.

Green Day was celebrated in the school premises on 12th July,2017 . Dress code for that day was green. Students has planted a saplings in the school lawn with the help of Principal.

The Managing Director Mr. Raj Khan and the Principal Miss Shabnam Chauhan along with children  sapled a plant by teeling the importance of greenery in our life.

Hand washing day was celebrated in our school on 27th April,2018. Principal Miss Shabnam Chauhan had given tips to the students to wash their hands before eating or after touching anything. She had also told the students how to wash their hands properly by making them hand washed.

Hindi Poetry Competition was held in the school premises on 21st July,2017 from I to VIII. Each and every students from all classes have participated in this competition. Winners was rewarded by the Principal of the school during assembly.

Hindi Poetry Recitation Competition was held in the school premises on 20th July,2018. This competition was held for the classes I to VIII. Winners of this competition was rewarded by the Principal of the school during assembly.

Hindi Hand Writing  Competition was held in the school premises on 5th Oct,2018 from I to IX. Each and every students from all classes have participated in this competition with great enthusiasm. Winners was rewarded by the Principal of the school during assembly.

Independence Day was celebrated in the school premises. On this Occasion Patriotic Song Competition was held. Four houses of school was divided into eight groups i.e. Junior and Senior groups. At last  the school Director mam and Principal mam have announced the winners of the competition. All the students along their teachers have celebrated 69th independence day with lot of happiness and took a pledge to keep our country as free as we are today..

Investiture Ceremony for the session 2018-19  was held in our school on Saturday i.e.28th April,2018. Miss Diksha was selected as the Head Girl of the school.House Captains and vice captains was also selected for the session 2019-19. and Master Mustak was selected as the sports Captain of the school.

On the occasion of birth of Lord Krishna a small celebration was done in the school campus. A skit  was performed showing the birth of Lord Krishna and the group dances was performed by the students. At the end Principal Miss Shabnam Chauhan told the students about the short story on the life of Lord Krishna.

Mock Drill On Earthquake was organised in the school campus for celebrating the 112th anniversary of Kangra Earthquake under the Fire and Safety Department. Mr Peer Sahei was the guider for this. He invited all the students and the staff members in hazard prone areas to practice drop, cover and hold and then evacuate to a pre-decided safe location. The drill was organised at 11 a.m. in the school campus.

A magic show was shown to the students in the school premises on 23rd April,2018. All the students have enjoyed a lot by watching the magic shown by the magician.

On the occasion of ‘Karwa Chauth’ Mehandi Competition was organised in the school. About 30 students participated in the competition and  displayed their skills. Irrespective of exposure and experience ,they adorned their hands with mehandi designs which will help them in boosting their confidence in the art. The different types of design which the students explored were- Indian Mehandi design, the Arabic Mehandi design and Pakistani Mehandi. Director Shehnaj Begum and Principal Miss Shabnam Chauhan were the judges of the competition.

On the occassion of Mother’s Day Card Making Competition was organised . Students from various classes had made a very beautiful cards for their mothers. Master Ansh, Miss Diksha.

School celebrated Nov 11, the birth anniversary of first Elocution Minister of independent India Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad. Floral tribute were paid to the leader.Students and teachers higlighted the contribution of Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad in laying the foundation of the education system. A slogan- writing competition was organised Principal Shabnam Chauhan delivered a speech about the importnace of education and how it shaped our personality.

On the occasion of Rakhi, Rakhi making competition was held in school premises from classes Ist to VIII. All the students have put their great efforts in making Rakhi. Beautiful rakhies were made by the various students. At last winners were chosen from various classes.

On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan ,Rakhi making Competition was held in our school. All the students from various classes have made beautiful rakhies for their brothers. At the end winners winners were chosen by the Principal of our school.

School celebrated Diwali with devotion, enthusiasm and excitement. The whole school wore a festive look with pots , diyas and lanterns adorning the corridors of the school. On this occasion an Inter House Rangoli making Competition was conducted. The rangoli on the theme of eco-friendly Diwali by the students of all four houses added perfect setting to the festivity.Principal Miss Shabnam Chauhan appreciated the efforts of the participants and wished a happy, prosperous and pollution-free Diwali.

On the occasion of Diwali Rangoli Competition was held in the school premises. Children of all the houses had made a very beautiful Rangoli each conveying a messages.

School celebrated Oct 31,the 143rd birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhai Patel as ‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas’, in the school campus as a mark of tribute to the efforts of the country’s first Home Minister to unite India. The programme begin with National Unity Day pledge which was administarted to all by the Principal Miss Shabnam Chauhan. To mark the occasion, Speech Competition, Talk Quiz  on Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel, Poems and group song were organised. The day was celebrated in a befitting manner and the message of unity, integrity and security of the country was conveyed to general masses through students by ‘Run For Unity.’

The 70th Republic Day was celebrated in all its solemnity and grandeur at New Gyan Dham Public School on 26th January 2019. The students saluted the National Flag and pledged themselves to upholding the honour and integrity, diversity and uniqueness that is “ India”.he students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of freedom and unity. To mark the importance of this day, a grand celebration was held in the school and many activities were planned in the school premises.’

In our school the campaign ‘Samarth -2018’ celebrated . As a part of the campaign various activities performed by the students. A painting competition held from classes Ist to 5th class , Slogan writing competition was held for classes 6th to 8th on the topic Impact of Natural and Human Induced Disasters on environment and essay writing competition for class IX on the topics Road accidents,Landslides was organised. At last Mock drill on Fire Safety by the Fire Department was conducted to tell students about the measures that should be taken during Fire.

School Foundation Day was celebrated in the school premises on 13th April,2018. One of the student Miss Diksha from class 8th had given speech by telling the students about the school. Also, a group song and short play was performed by the student. At the end Principal of the school Miss Shabnam Chauhan told the achievements of the school that our school had achieved in 4 Years.

School Picnic was organised by school on 7th 0ct,2017. Students were taken to Bombay Picnic Spot near Una and enjoyed there a lot.

Under the ‘ Tourism Week,’ 2018 a one day adventurous trip was organised to Mapple Jungle, Anandpur Sahib by the school management. Students and staff  enjoyed doing various  adventurous activities like- Wall Climbing, Zip Lining, Brama Bridge, Tyre Climbing, Tracking,etc.

With a view to encourage, popularise and inculcate scientific and social temper among the children New Gyan Dham organised a one-day science and social science exhibition.
The platform helped the students to pursue their natural curiosity by showcasing their creative talents to parents in Science and Social Science subjects via models and exhibits and their applications in different areas related with our everyday life. Some of the models that were main attraction included water harvesting, hydraulic lift and hydraulic bridge. Principal Miss Shabnam Chauhan appreciated the students for their efforts and said that Science and Social Science is all around us and we can gain knowledge as well as solve many problems by relating the learnings to the physical and social environment.

Science Exhibition was held in our school on 20th Jan,2018. Students made various models of Science and S.S.T. and represented by explaining the models.

For the sports activities the interested students given their name to the concern teacher and the name of name which interested.

Under the Swacchata Pakhwada various activities has done from 1 to 15th Sep. During these days along with the Swacchata Shapath,  Swacchata aSWACCHATA PAKHWADA ENDINGwareness, Personal hygiene ,Community Participation, Water Harvesting, Swacch Water , Swachhata Exhibition has done in the school premises. Under this Rally, Skit, Painting Poetry Recitation , Postcard Writing has conducted. On the very last day Under ‘ Swachhata Hi Seva’ Hand wash campaigning by students and prize dustribution has done.

As per the guidelines of the CBSE Board Swachhta Pakhwada week has been started in the school Campus. The main motive of this is to tell the students about the importance of cleanliness in our life. Principal Miss Shabnam Chauhan gave the students some tips of cleanliness. On the first day all the students, teaching staff and non-teaching staff along with  Principal took the pledge to keep the surroundings area clean.

On the occasion of birthday of Dr. Sarvepalli  Radhakrishan ,teacher’s day was celebrated in the school premises. A function was organised by the children’s of the school. Various fun games was organised for the teachers. All of them enjoyed a lot. At the end Principal Miss Shabnam Chauhan told the importance of teacher’s day to students and  has distributed gifts to the teachers and wish them Happy Teacher’s Day.

As per the guidelines of CBSE, School observed Vigilance Awareness Week in the school premises. It also organised a rally in the surrounding areas. The theme of the Rally was” My Vision Corruption Free India”. Students used playcards for propagating message on vigilance awareness and anti-corruption to make people aware of the role of the common man in controlling corruption. The students and people pledged to remain vigilant and work towards the growth and development of the country.

Our school students had participated in Drawing  India Master Stroke Competition .Three students of our school had got their positions. One of our students Master Prince Bhardwaj was Ist Runner Up and had got Apple I-pad of 128GB. and two other students Sunita Manik and Krutika Mishra had got wrist watches of fastrack and other gift hampers.

Vaishavi Pandit of New Gyan Dham Public School,Nalagarh, did the Solan Distt. proud by winning the Gold Medal in 15th Yoga Sports Championship held in Una, Himachal Pradesh. It was a state event organised by the H.P. Yog Association, Una. She won the first position in Girl’s Category under 8-11 years and in boy’s category Vaibhav got 5th position and various participation certificates was bagged by the school. Principal Shabnam Chauhan congratulated all the participants and wished all of them to do better in coming future. She said that it is a big achievement for the school.
